The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum
The Nature Museum is known for its iconic Judy Istock Butterfly Haven and providing more hands-on science instruction than any museum in Chicago.The Academy continues to excel in all aspects of the museum experience, citizen science initiatives, compelling public programming, its outdoor Nature Trails exhibition and much more.
Hours of OperationMonday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum is open every day except the first Friday in May, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
The last admission ticket is sold at 4:30 p.m.
